The museum features over five hundred thousand dollars in gaming machines, memorabilia, slot machines, gambling weapons, photos, devices for cheating and old US dollars displays. Some of the pieces are very rare, dating back as far as the mid-1800's.

As visitors enter the building, it is like stepping back in time. The Old West comes to life, as does the state's deep ties with mining. Two popular displays include a full sized 1870's poker room and gambling hall/saloon, very popular examples of life in the mining settlements of the day.

The museum is open year round, from October to March (10 am to 5 pm) and April to September (10 am to 6 pm). Admission is a mere $1 for all ages, but children below the age of 11 are free.
